Pirates are hot!

The Pirates made the playoffs last year, and the fans are hoping for continued improvement, see - Pirates, fans enter 2014 season in winning mode. Sales of merchandise have taken an upswing. Since December, merchandise sales were 300 percent higher than in the same period last year.  Pirates' merchandise overall ranked 10th in national sales from November through January.
